Off page SEO is efforts to optimize search engines from outside the website.
Search engines in general like Google have a bot that is tasked with crawling on the internet. Crawlers whose task is to walk on Google's internet is called Googlebot. Googlebot moves from one website to another website through the links listed on each website page. From the data collected by Googlebot, the index and rank order of the website are compiled from the first to the umpteenth according to the quality and quantity of each website. Because Googlebot uses the link as its navigation center, websites that have external links will get high priority or rank. The more and the higher the quality of the linked, the better the ranking the website gets. This is why links from other websites (backlinks) play an important role in SEO.

Local listings

If it applies to your website niche, local listings are a great way to reach targeted audiences. Registering your website in local directories, such as Google Maps, Yellow Pages, and Just Dial, makes it easier for people, who if you are not aware of your existence, to find you online.

Using this off-page SEO technique will definitely increase the traffic your site receives. But remember, your website on the SEO page must be at a point too for ranking SERPs to improve.
